My First Post

After a few attempts I have decided to take up blogging seriously. Well I have to start somewhere and so let me start up by writing about what is happening currently in my life.

I finished up work on my last project a week ago and currently am waiting for a new project. What does it mean? No office, stay at home and spend time with my wife (S) and daughter (R). Wake up late, laze around and read as many books as I want! Did I hear jealous sighs?

R is absolutely delighted to find me at home all day and wants me to play with her, read books to her and if nothing else play horse to her. I am having a great time (obviously).

This has also given us time to do things that we normally won't have time to do. On Tuesday we went to Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley. Sampled some good Ethiopian Food at Ethiopia Restaurant and then just walked around enjoying the diverse sights and stores!! Went into a cafe' "Le Bateau Ivre - Drunken Boat" and enjoyed a nice Irish Coffee with Coffee Cake. Walked into a store that specializes in Hukka and pipes, and these are no ordinary pipes, they are caution made Glass pipes !! Next up was a shop that specialized in piercings and Tattoos, S wanted to poke her nose and I wanted to poke my ear, but when it came to the final decision we both chickened out. Next we came across Amoeba Music which is has a huge collection of used and new CD's/DVD's/LP's/Records and Videos. We got some good bargains, and then headed back home.

The past two days have been very cloudy and lazy and have been spent doing absolutely nothing. Tomorrow is Durga Puja and we are all excited to visit puja's at Livermore temple and Chabot College in Hayward.
